Project Title

Cyber-Attacks on Communication Networks during Warfare

Objective

To analyze the expansion of modern warfare into the digital domain, with a focus on the Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas conflicts as key case studies. In today’s interconnected world, technology is woven into every aspect of life, making cyber attacks, digital surveillance, and misinformation campaigns central tactics in contemporary conflicts. These advanced cyber tools are now used not only for direct military operations but also to disrupt communication systems, manipulate information, and influence public opinion. This project aims to underscore the critical role of cyber capabilities in shaping modern warfare and to emphasize the urgent need for robust cybersecurity measures, ethical accountability, and international cooperation in the digital age.

Project Description

This research project explored the evolving role of cyber espionage and cyber attacks in modern conflicts. It examined how sophisticated cyber tools such as malware, data breaches, and digital surveillance are employed to steal intelligence, disrupt critical communication systems, and sway public perception. The project incorporated a review of the historical context, analysis of recent case studies, and a discussion of future implications for cyber warfare.
